With a mission rooted in service, excellence, and impact, Henosis continues to grow as a Pan-African platform shaping the next generation of leaders.To support our expanding programs and long-term sustainability, we are seeking a visionary and disciplined leader to serve as Director of Finance & Resource Development.Role OverviewThe Director of Finance & Resource Development serves as the financial strategist and sustainability architect of Henosis International. This role ensures that the organization remains fiscally strong, well-resourced, and positioned for long-term growth.You will oversee all financial operations, lead fundraising and partnership development, manage donor relations, and ensure responsible stewardship of all resources.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & OversightLead the development and management of annual budgets and financial plans.Monitor financial performance, ensuring compliance, accountability, and transparency.Oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, audits, and internal control systems.Present accurate financial statements to the Executive Board and leadership.Establish systems that ensure proper stewardship of funds and responsible expenditure.Resource Mobilization & FundraisingDesign and execute fundraising strategies (grants, corporate sponsorships, donor campaigns, etc.).Identify and engage potential donors, partners, and supporters.Maintain strong donor relationships through consistent communication and impact reporting.Develop proposals, sponsorship packages, and pitch decks for resource development.Partnership & Revenue GrowthBuild strategic partnerships with foundations, NGOs, private sector organizations, and philanthropists.Explore alternative revenue streams to strengthen financial sustainability.Lead negotiations and agreements with financial, impact, and development partners.Organizational SupportAdvise leadership on financial strategy and long-term sustainability planning.Work closely with program directors to ensure funding is aligned with program goals.Provide financial training or guidance to volunteers and project leads (when needed).Ensure that financial decisions reflect the values and mission of Henosis International.Skills & QualificationsStrong background in finance, accounting, business administration, development, or related fields.Experience with nonprofit financial management is an added advantage.Excellent analytical, budgeting, and reporting skills.Proven ability to develop and implement fundraising or resource development strategies.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Integrity, transparency, and commitment to accountability.Ability to work with volunteers and operate in a mission-driven environment.What This Role OffersA high-level leadership platform to influence real youth-focused impact across Africa.Opportunity to shape and scale one of Africa’s rising youth-development organizations.Work with passionate leaders and innovators committed to national advancement.Leadership visibility and long-term legacy contribution.Access to networks, collaborations, and opportunities within global development ecosystems.TO DO TaskApply by sending your interest, porfolio and cv to henosisinternational01@gmail.com (cc: love@henosisinternational.org)
