This role will lead business partnering, working closely with GTM, PDE (Product, Design, Engineering), and other departments, while also building scalable FP&A systems and processes to support Kiddom’s next stage of growth. We’re looking for someone who combines strong strategic finance instincts with the ability to model, analyze, and operationalize insights. This is a highly visible role that reports directly to the VP of Finance and will partner closely with the executive team.You will...Business Partnering Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM, PDE, Content, and Operations leaders, translating operational drivers into financial plans and actionable insightsLead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across functional teams; challenge assumptions and identify improvement leversDevelop and track KPIs that connect operational performance to company-level resultsPartner with leaders to evaluate new markets, products, and state adoptions; develop ROI analyses and scenario models that inform investment decisionsFP&A Systems, Processes, and InfrastructureDesign and implement scalable FP&A systems, tools, and automationEstablish a unified “source of truth” for financial and operational data by collaborating with Accounting, RevOps, and Data teamsDrive monthly and quarterly forecasting cadence; lead post-close variance reviews and synthesize insights for leadershipBuild management and board reporting packages that communicate performance clearly and visuallyStrategic Finance & PlanningPartner with the VP of Finance on the annual operating plan, 3-year financial model, and capital allocation frameworksCollaborate with Accounting to support cash forecasting, debt compliance, and financial policy developmentSupport fundraising and investor communications by contributing analysis, scenarios, and strategic narrativesLead or contribute to special projects (e.g., pricing analysis, M&A diligence, margin optimization, etc.)What we're looking for...6–10 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking, with experience in a startup or high-growth operating environmentProven experience in financial modeling, including three-statement models, scenario analysis, and driver-based forecastingStrong business partnering skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and synthesize complex financial insights into clear recommendationsHands-on operator with a track record of building and improving FP&A systemsExcellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate financials for non-financial leadersComfort with SaaS, print, and services revenue models is a plusBachelor’s degree, MBA is a plusSalary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.What we offerFull time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment: Competitive salary Meaningful equity Health insurance benefits: medical (various PPO/HMO/HSA plans), dental, vision, disability and life insurance One Medical membership (in participating locations) Flexible vacation time policy (subject to internal approval).
