Reporting directly to our SVP of IT, this role is 100% remote with occasional travel and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts.You’ll oversee a talented team of Regional IT Managers and spearhead strategic initiatives that enhance performance, strengthen cybersecurity, and elevate the guest experience. From implementing next-generation systems to ensuring seamless property transitions, you’ll be the driving force behind our digital evolution. If you’re a visionary leader with deep hospitality IT expertise, strong project management skills, and a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Regional IT Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Oversee IT operations and support across a portfolio of properties, ensuring high standards of service and system performance. Lead complex IT projects and transitions, including onboarding new properties Ensure all hotel properties maintain compliance with PCI DSS standards and lead cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard guest data, payment systems, and internal networks. Collaborate with Regional IT Managers to implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and respond to emerging threats. Design and develop IT systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Manage project and transition budgets with a high degree of accuracy and provide annual guidance for recurring expenses. Conduct system analysis and development to keep systems current with evolving technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing programs and design solutions to improve performance. Assist in the smooth transition of networks and email domains during property transitions. Communicate effectively with engineers, technical support staff, and stakeholders regarding system needs. Collaborate with hospitality brands and technology providers to ensure seamless integration and partnership. Research and recommend new software tools and technological solutions to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. Provide administrative support and contribute to IT governance and compliance initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 7 + years of progressive IT leadership experience within the hospitality industry in a medium or large sized company. Experience with hotel technology systems such as Opera, OnQ, Galaxy LightSpeed, Simphony, and Infogenesis preferred. Proven leadership experience managing a multi-site IT team and large-scale system implementations. Strong knowledge of multiple PMS systems and hotel technology infrastructure. Excellent project management, budgeting, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in hospitality technology.
