Platinum Recruiting Group is a leading recruiting firm partnering with our confidential client, a high-growth industrial company, to find a highly qualified Manufacturing Strategy Director.This role is the strategic architect for our client's entire manufacturing footprint. You will define the future of the enterprise, with direct Board-level visibility and impact on multi-million dollar capital investments.Executive Impact: Develop and secure approval for all major expansion, consolidation, and capital investment proposals.Enterprise Ownership: Own the long-range strategy, from capacity planning and M&A integration to advanced technology adoption.High-Growth Mandate: Drive the scalability and competitiveness of the global network to meet aggressive customer demand.You will be a pivotal member of the Central Operations – Operational Excellence team, reporting to the VP, Operational Excellence. The culture is data-driven and highly collaborative. You will operate as a cross-functional leader and internal consultant, guiding virtual teams across Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.Tools & TravelComfortable utilizing Capacity Modeling, Financial Modeling (ROI/NPV), and Geospatial Analysis tools. This is a hybrid role requiring significant travel for site evaluations, market studies, and executive engagement.Key Responsibilities: Footprint Strategy: Develop the long-range manufacturing strategy and translate business priorities into specific footprint, capacity, and capability requirements.Investment & Analysis: Lead detailed market/site studies and architect robust business cases for major capital expenditures, greenfield, and expansion projects.M&A: Support due diligence and lead the post-acquisition alignment of manufacturing assets into the enterprise strategy.Technology: Identify and champion advanced manufacturing technologies and automation to enhance competitiveness.Experience10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing strategy, operations, or footprint optimization at the enterprise level.Proven track record in capacity planning, site selection, and successfully presenting investment proposals to Boards/Executive Committees.Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or Operations; MBA preferred.Exposure to M&A integration or private equity environments is a plus.SkillsExceptional strategic and financial acumen to build and defend complex business cases.Executive communication skills for high-stakes stakeholder engagement.Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, site selection drivers, and operational scaling.Data-driven analytical and modeling abilities.Apply now or message us to confidentially discuss this executive-level opportunity!
