We partner with employers, insurers, and associations—and serve individuals directly—to deliver evidence‑based, personalized programs that improve wellbeing and productivity while respecting Canadian privacy and health regulations.The OpportunityWe’re hiring a Director of Marketing to build a modern, data‑driven marketing engine that drives awareness, authority, and qualified pipeline across B2B and B2C. You will own demand generation and ABM for enterprise buyers and B2C acquisition and lifecycle for individual members. You’ll elevate our brand and thought leadership, operationalize CRM/lifecycle, and stand up marketing operations and analytics—with clear OKRs, smart budgeting, and a bias for measurable impact.Industry background: We welcome candidates from similarly complex, multi‑stakeholder or regulated categories beyond healthcare/insurance (e.g., fintech/payments, insurtech, medtech/biotech, regulated marketplaces, gov/edtech, cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS). Healthcare experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.What You’ll DoB2B Demand Generation & ABMDesign and execute multi‑channel programs by vertical; own MQL volume, quality, and velocity; partner with Growth on SLAs and attribution.B2C Growth & AcquisitionOwn consumer CAC and LTV:CAC; run paid/organic acquisition (search, social, affiliates), landing conversion, and referral/advocacy.Brand, PR & Thought LeadershipShape a credible category‑leader narrative; manage PR calendar, media relationships, speaking agenda, and co‑branding with marquee partners.Content & Education (B2B + B2C)Build the content hub; ship whitepapers, webinars, clinical explainers, consumer education series, employer enablement kits, and case studies.Lifecycle, CRM & RetentionImplement marketing automation, segmentation, and nurture for employers, brokers, and members (email/SMS/in‑app); own onboarding, activation, and win‑back.Social, Community & InfluencersLead organic social, community engagement, influencer partnerships, and UGC governance.Marketing Ops & AnalyticsStand up dashboards and measurement (ROAS/CAC/LTV, MQL→SQL→Opp; CVR, activation, retention); run CRO experiments; ensure clean UTMs and data hygiene.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure CASL‑compliant outreach; partner with Clinical/Legal on claims review; publish clear privacy/security communications.Team & Vendor LeadershipHire and coach a small, high‑leverage team; select and manage agencies (paid media, PR, SEO, creative, influencer) with performance SLAs.What You’ll Achieve (12‑Month Outcomes)B2B≥1,500 qualified MQLs with ≥25% MQL→SQL conversion.Average MQL cost ≤ $150; mature paid programs at ROAS ≥ 3; CAC trending down.20+ earned media placements; 2 flagship whitepapers; 4 webinars; 10+ page‑one SEO keywords; 3+ speaking slots.2+ co‑branded launches with insurers/employers; ≥1 public case study.B2CConsumer CAC at/below target; LTV:CAC ≥ 3.0 on core cohorts.+30% website CVR uplift vs. baseline; +20% Day‑30 activation; −15% churn on a target program.Opt‑in list to ≥50k with best‑practice deliverability; social community growth +100% with above‑median engagement.Targets are calibrated quarterly with Finance/Growth based on baseline and runway.What You Bring8+ years leading B2B and/or B2C growth in complex, multi‑stakeholder or regulated markets (healthtech, or fintech/payments, insurtech, medtech/biotech, cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, gov/edtech, marketplaces). Early‑stage builder with enterprise‑grade execution.Proven ownership of demand gen + ABM and/or B2C acquisition/lifecycle, delivering MQL, CAC, and retention targets.Hands‑on with paid search/social, SEO, CRO; lifecycle automation (email/SMS/in‑app).Strong PR/thought‑leadership instincts and executive‑level writing/storytelling.Fluent in CASL and comfortable ramping on PIPEDA/PHIPA and medical/legal claim substantiation.Data‑driven operator: funnel design, cohort/LTV modelling, dashboards, and attribution.People leader: recruits, develops, and inspires high‑performance teams; manages agencies to outcomes.Nice to HaveDirect experience marketing to insurers, large employers, and brokers/consultants; D2C healthcare experience.Product marketing exposure (positioning, enablement, case studies).Events/field marketing and analyst relations.Tooling You Know (or Can Learn Fast)HubSpot or · GA4 + Looker/BigQuery · Mixpanel/Amplitude · Braze/Klaviyo/Customer.io · Ahrefs/Screaming Frog · VWO/Optimizely · Hotjar/Clarity · Meltwater/Cision · Zoho · Asana/Jira/Notion.How We WorkHybrid, outcomes‑driven, and privacy‑by‑design.
