Director of Operations London Area Competitive base + bonus I'm working with a leading sporting organisation based in London who are looking to recruit a Director of Operations for the business.The role will lead the strategic and operational delivery of all stadium facilities and large-scale event operations. ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all operational functionsImplement and lead on a operations strategy across the business Key areas of focus across event day delivery, health and safety, IT, and facilitiesManagement of all Capex projects and project management Lead on the relationship with a wide-range of contractor agencies across facilities, grounds team and security and spectator teams Oversee the creation and execution of all event day operational and safety plans, ensuring full compliance.Lead all facilities management functions across the venueOversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of all Health & Safety policies, systems of work, and contractor control processes across the ClubOversee and manage a team of around 10 individuals, ensuring you implement a fantastic team culture. QualificationsProven experience working across large scale events across tournaments or stadiums. Previous experience in a senior event operations background 7+ years minimum Proven team management experience Ability to lead a team of 10 individuals Deep understanding of the SGSA Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds, HSE standards, and UK licensing and compliance frameworksStrong commercial, financial, and strategic acumen.NVQ Level 4 in Spectator Safety ManagementPlease feel free to apply with a copy of your most up to date CV to the advert below.
