It has also received recognition for its commitment to environmental protection and community development through its non-profit arm, the Banyan Global Foundation, which aligns the Group’s efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).The RoleUnder the general guidance and supervision of the General Manager and Field Sales Leader of the territories, and adhering to policies and procedures as meted out by the designated hotels and company, the incumbent herein oversees and directs all aspects of sales activities with the objectives of bringing the hotel to market speedily and achieving RevPAR-oriented goals consistently. Such activities including but not limited to sales and marketing planning, promotional strategies and tactics, and overall accountability for the day-to-day effectiveness of the sales force.Exceeded budgeted RevPAR expectations consistently.Exceeded budgeted Catering revenue expectations consistently.Managed forecasting accuracy in cooperation with the Revenue Manager.Planned key sales strategies and actions completed, evaluated, and results achieved.Planned training for the sales force completed.Ensures that employees are selected, trained, evaluated and rewarded in compliance with existing employee management systems.Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate employeesJob Requirements3 to 5 years experiences in hotels sales and marketing management chainsDiploma/ Higher Diploma/ University EducationExcellent hotel sales, marketing, and/or revenue management experience.Good leadership experience of a department or division.Possesses a track record of active commercial or leisure accounts that may be relevant to the hotel’s key feeder markets/market segments.Advance levels of analytical skills and the ability to articulate the business.High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Good health, mature and pleasant personality, very neat appearance.Good interpersonal skills required.
