Ambu is currently looking for a Director of Training and Enablement in a newly created position supporting our North American Organisation.In this role, you will report lead the development and execution of training and enablement programs for Ambu’s North American commercial teams. You will be responsible for designing impactful learning experiences that drive performance, align with product strategy, and reflect evolving market and regulatory needs. Your key stakeholders will include Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Product Management, and you will oversee a team focused on onboarding, product launches, and continuous learning.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate learning leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is eager to shape the future of commercial enablement at Ambu.The position can be based remotely on the East Coast, with regular field-based travel to be expected.Key ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will include:Design and implement training/development programs for our Sales force aligned with Ambu’s ZOOM AHEAD strategy Collaborate with People & Culture to deliver impactful onboarding, product launch training, and ongoing learning initiatives for commercial teams. Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness and ROI; use data and feedback to refine programs. Partner with stakeholders to assess development needs and create programs that foster capability growth Partner cross-functionally with regional and global teams to ensure training is relevant and integrated. Leverage digital platforms, e-learning, and virtual training tools to scale learning across the organization. Collaborate closely with global Centres of Excellence to deliver on training programmes in line with wider strategy Suggested candidate profile SkillsSkills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:Have solid experience in training, enablement, or learning & development, preferably within medtech, life sciences, or healthcare. Bring a strong track record of designing and delivering commercial training programs that drive performance. Are skilled in using learning technologies, CRM systems, and analytics to measure impact and scale initiatives. Have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align messaging and customer engagement strategies. Are a strategic thinker with a passion for continuous learning and innovation. Hold a relevant degree in education, business, or healthcare; equivalent experience also considered. Possess excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented culture and bring a mindset of coaching and development. Have prior experience working in a highly international and matrixed environment
