Disability Support Worker

ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centered disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, and Community Nursing.About The RoleWe are looking for team members in our supported independent living arrangements in Glass House Mountains to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.The support worker's role and responsibilities will include:Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the communityProviding positive behaviour support to our clients Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting and data collectionContribute to the team’s overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clientsWork with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provisionMaintain a professional relationship with clients and adhere to the NDIS and company code of conductAbove all, be responsive, reliable and accountable to our clients and your teamWhat we offer:Casual/Part Time PositionsCompetitive Pay Rates up to $44.59/hour11% super5 weeks Annual LeaveOnsite TrainingOpportunities for Career ProgressionQualification/Experience:Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification) Proven experience supporting individuals with complex or high behaviours, including aggression and property damageMental Health Experience Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsProblem-Solving SkillsVerbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building SkillsIf you think this sounds like you, please apply!Powered by JazzHR3PjO7cZQKZ
