About The RoleWe are seeking multiple Lead Data Science Analysts to join our team in Riverwoods, Illinois. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making and enhance customer experiences.
Your expertise will be pivotal in designing customer segmentation models, optimization algorithms, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems. You will operate as a subject matter expert in statistical analysis, experimental design, and modeling methodologies, ensuring the financial impact of your solutions aligns with business objectives. This position offers flexibility with telecommuting and remote work options, subject to company policies, with occasional domestic travel required. As a leader in data science, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of digital banking and payments.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in data science or analysis roles, orMaster’s degree in the same fields, with at least 2 years of applicable experience. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Experience querying large datasets using SQL or SAS. Ability to build reports and dashboards utilizing Power BI, Tableau, Power Pivot, or MS Excel. Strong data management skills using R or Excel. Experience working with databases like Snowflake.
Knowledge of metric tracking and establishing data linkages through SAS, SQL, or Snowflake. ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithms. Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, experimental design, and modeling methodologies to solve business challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytical needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models. Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data science and analytics. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data science to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
