Job Description

The Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for TWDC, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records, Hollywood Records and VANTA Music), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. DMG distributes music both physically and digitally and also licenses music throughout the world in various forms of media including television, print, gaming, and consumer products. We are seeking a visionary and strategic Marketing, Senior Manager to lead innovative campaigns and culturally resonant initiatives across a diverse and dynamic artist roster.

This role will celebrate and elevate a wide array of diverse music and culture, as well as contribute to broader marketing strategies across genres including R&B, Hip-hop, Pop and Indie, supporting artists under VANTA Music and Hollywood Records. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for culture and creativity with the ability to authentically translate that into high-impact marketing. You'll work cross-functionally with A&R, creative, digital, sales, BA and partnerships teams to amplify story telling while driving relevance and results across all audiences. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute multi-platform marketing campaigns for artists and releases across the Hollywood Records and VANTA Music rosterLead initiatives from concept through execution—including storytelling, creative development, marketing strategy, and audience growthCollaborate with internal teams to plan and implement cross-media campaigns across Radio, Sales & Digital, Publicity, International, Creative, and Business AffairsPartner closely with artist teams to align marketing efforts with each artist’s unique creative vision and business goalsManage budgets, timelines, and campaign resources effectivelyBuild and nurture strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including artist management, agents, creative partners, and brand collaboratorsLeverage data and insights to inform strategy, optimize performance, and deepen audience engagementChampion and help lead culturally driven campaigns—especially those that reflect and celebrate music, artistry, and innovationIdentify and lead strategic partnerships, brand integrations, and influencer activations with cultural relevanceStay ahead of emerging trends, audience behaviors, and platform innovations impacting both music and the broader music ecosystemServe as a cultural ambassador—bringing authentic perspective to both internal strategy and external-facing campaignsContribute to additional marketing projects and genre initiatives as neededQualifications:

5+ years of experience in music marketing with particular focus on pop, indie, R&B, and Hip-hop musicUnderstanding of the diverse music landscape and its cultural context, history, and evolutionProven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns for high-profile and emerging artistsStrong leadership, communication, and project management skillsExperience managing cross-functional teams and working with artists and talentPassion for storytelling, innovation, and community-centered campaignsExisting relationships within the music community, including artists, influencers, media, creative talent and DSP partners. Must be available to work onsite minimum of 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday).

Fridays are remote, with reserved flexibility to work onsite or on location as neededMust be available outside of standard business hours for events, photo and video shoots, showcases etc. and be available to travel if needed. Approximate travel is estimated 15% of the time. About VANTA MusicVANTA Music is the label helmed by Oscar® and Grammy® Award-winning producer and songwriter D’Mile, Grammy® Award-winning Engineer John Kercy and multi-hyphenate music executive Natalie Prospere, whose roster of artists, songwriters and producers has garnered numerous multi-platinum RIAA® Awards, chart-topping music and countless Grammy® Awards.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $107,300 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
