Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?The Key Purpose of this role is to make beer and soft drink sales deliveries to customers based on orders made as well as make deliveries to other ZB plants as instructed.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Product is delivered on time according to planned orders and schedule or ad hoc orders and according to the routeFunds generated from sales are secured and deposited with cashier immediately on return to the plantThe driver shall be responsible and accountable for ensuring that their settlements, upon return from the trade are properly completed and difference report signed after counter checkingThe driver shall make sure that all the cash customers he delivers to pay for the product on deliveryThe driver shall always maintain his truck is neat conditionThe driver shall always fill in their pre-trip check sheet before exiting the plant first thing in the morning and detail all defects on the truckThe driver shall be responsible for the hooking and off hooking of the Trailer to and from the Horse as and when need arise for drop trailersThe driver shall make sure that the truck is swept by the truck assistant at all timesThe driver shall ensure that problems outside their span of control are escalated to the distribution controller without failCustomers are briefed about routine happenings in the company and product mattersComplaints and suggestions are noted and reported to superiorCustomers are advised on how payments are made for the product deliveredRecords of fuel/lubes in-take and vehicle movements are keptPreventative maintenance schedules are followedNecessary pertaining to vehicle problems are reported and recorded on the inspection sheetsKey Attributes and Competencies:Be communicative, dynamic and responsible.Possess excellent interpersonal relationships.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 CertificateCE valid driver’s LicenseSober mindDefensive valid driver's certificate2 years driving experienceAdditional Information:BAND: XABInBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
