This role partners closely with Sales, Trade Compliance, Finance, and Operations to grow the distribution product, manage profitability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Operations & Customer ManagementManage daily distribution and warehousing operations, including work orders, inventory records, and customer service delivery. Ensure all customer procedures and standard operating processes are documented and kept current in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database. Map and analyze department processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and service improvements. Take an active role in the transition and onboarding of new business and changes to existing accounts. Commercial & Financial PerformanceSupport pricing activities by reviewing local charges and agreement quotes to minimize risk and potential losses. Grow department revenue in line with district budget targets and management expectations. Manage the department P&L and ensure accurate financial reporting through tools such as BNP, AJAX, CLH, and internal financial reports. Maintain clean financial accounting and strong cost control across all warehousing activities. Leadership & CollaborationLead and support team huddles, monthly meetings, and weekly branch sales meetings to share market intelligence and performance updates. Assist supervisors and key staff with goal setting, performance monitoring, and development planning. Conduct regular staff appraisals and one‑to‑one meetings in line with the 3+1 performance framework. Act as a change leader by supporting system enhancements, new tools, and continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance & GovernanceMaintain a strong working relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager to support compliance activities and training. Ensure all distribution &warehousing operations adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
