Our responsible drivers ensure containers are delivered on time and safely throughout the UK and internationally. However, we are opening a distribution fleet working with curtainersiders of all sizes. Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, full-time role located in London Gateway for a Distribution Transport Manager. Will be responsible for distributing pallets nationwide from full loads to individual pallets on the network. Scheduling deliveries, managing driver routes, and ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods. Day-to-day tasks will include communicating with drivers, clients, and network suppliers, monitoring pallet movements, and handling any issues that arise during transit.QualificationsExperience in pallet network.Strong organizational and scheduling skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProblem-solving and crisis management skillsProficiency with relevant software and tools for managing pallet distributionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of UK transportation regulations is a mustAttention to detail and a focus on safetyWorking closely with the warehouse manager to ensure on time dispatchHave a portfolio of contacts nationwide to work with on full loads both up and back
