TitleDJBOSS: Project LeaderProgram SummaryKBR sustains the operational well-being of U.S. Armed Forces at Djibouti, Africa, Camp Lemonnier Naval Base. Our services encompass program management, contingency and expeditionary, asset management and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more. KBR ensures the base operate smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution.Job SummaryUnder broad direction, provides Administrative and Operations support to the Project Manager. Advises and instructs work efforts associated with services required within the Base Operations Support contract to meet the contractual performance objectives and standards to include planning, scheduling, cost, accounting, estimating, report development and preparation, establishing and maintaining records, and quality assurance.Roles And ResponsibilitiesProvided the necessary management expertise to assure performance objectives and standards are met and to ensures all administrative deliveries of internal and external information, performance and communications are complete and submitted on time.Experience in providing oversight for Operations and Maintenance activities supporting cost control, adherence to schedule, and the overall budgeting processCandidate should have knowledge of establishing or modifying workload driversDemonstrate an ability to work established Asset Management data to optimize equipment shelf life and reduce costsAbility to establish Preventive Maintenance schedules and able to execute course corrections in the event of changeCapability to conduct pre-site inspections, create Statements of Work, oversee subcontractorsPossess thorough knowledge of the Technical Inspection process.Experience in executing small construction projects while coordinating multiple disciplines working together to complete the project and supervision of mixed labour forcePossess an understanding of firm fixed price contracts, contractual change orders, planning and IDIQ work as well and understanding the ramifications associated with poor fiscal responsibilityMust have moderate to advanced Excel knowledgeThis role encompasses responsibilities beyond those outlined in the job description. You may be tasked with fulfilling additional duties as required by the organizationEnsures compliance with company, OSHA and DOD safety policies to include EM-385-1.Interfaces with base Public Works Office counterparts as well as Contracting office personnelPreferred QualificationsThe preferred candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Government ContractingThe preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or 8 years of relevant management experienceProficient with Computer programs like MS Word, MS Excel, Power Pont etc.Familiar with KBR internal programs such as MAXIMO, Asset Management and KPEXPrevious assignments and recent work history supporting NAVCENT Installation and NAFAC BOS contracts preferredAware of financial, estimating, supply chain, procurement and subcontract processes and procedures.Familiar with firm fixed price contracts, contractual modifications and IDIQ estimates estimating and planningHas previous experience with change management processes to include proposal creationExcellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsOperational management or experience in O&M services to include HVAC systems, Electrical, Power Generation, Plumbing, Carpentry, Water and Ice production, Vector Control, Custodial services and labor management, not a requirement but a plusBasic QualificationsMust be United States CitizenMust possess a United States issued passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remainingMust possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validityMust be able to obtain a US Secret ClearanceAbility to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with multiple interruptions/distractions.Excellent customer relations, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsEffective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders is essentialKBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
