Job Description

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team for the Porthos CO₂ Project, which involves the construction of a compression station to store CO₂ in an empty gas field in the North Sea.We are looking for a professional with experience in document management within technical and engineering environments, to support the activities of the technical department and ensure an accurate, efficient, and compliant document workflow aligned with company procedures.Responsibilities:Manage and keep all project technical documentation up to date, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and proper distribution.Prepare and implement document management and numbering procedures in line with contractual requirements and corporate guidelines.Implement the correspondence procedure and support the Project Manager in preparing the Project Coordination Procedure.Develop and manage document templates for technical documentation, correspondence, and Minutes of Meeting.Set up and maintain the Electronic Document Management System in accordance with contractual requirements and internal procedures.Register, monitor, and distribute project correspondence (official letters, MoM, Technical Queries, etc.).Create, update, and verify the Master Document Register.Properly archive physical and digital documents, ensuring their retrievability.Coordinate with internal and external teams (Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors) to ensure an effective document workflow.Support the Planner and Project Control Engineer in monitoring engineering progress.Prepare project reporting as required.Requirements:Experience as a Document Controller in technical or engineering environments, preferably within the Oil & Gas or EPC sectors.Good understanding of technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, specifications, and industry standards.Knowledge of document management processes and project control tools.Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Electronic Document Management Systems.Professional English.Precision, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.Flexibility, adaptability, and stress management skills.Place of work: The position is based in Rotterdam, NetherlandsThis position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
