Job Description

John Sisk & Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change.Opportunity for a Document Controller to join the Data Centre team.You will work closely with the design, engineering and site management teams to maintain accurate records, ensure version control and manage compliance with company and project requirements.Manage the receipt, distribution and tracking of all drawings, documents and correspondence using the company’s document control system such as BIM 360, Viewpoint or similarMaintain up-to-date registers of drawings, technical submittals, RFIs and project correspondenceEnsure all documentation complies with Sisk standards and project naming conventionsSupport design and site teams in uploading and retrieving controlled documents and drawingsMonitor document workflows and highlight any delays or issues in approval processesLiaise with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients to ensure timely document exchangeAssist with audits and quality checks to maintain full document traceability and complianceSupport handover documentation compilation and archiving at project completionProvide guidance and training to team members on document control processes and systems where requiredEssentialAt least two years’ experience in document control within a construction or engineering environmentExperience using document management systems such as BIM 360, Viewpoint or AconexStrong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage workload effectively in a busy environmentGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsDesirableExperience on major infrastructure, building or design-led projectsFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and quality management proceduresUnderstanding of digital construction processes and BIM standardsSisk is a family-owned business with over 160 years of history built on trust, teamwork and innovation.
