Job DescriptionAs a Domain Architect in the Customer CaaS (Core as a Service) CoE team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud-native telecom solutions that power next-generation networks. Core as a Service (CaaS) is part of Nokia’s cloud-native portfolio, where Nokia delivers 5G Core network functions (such as AMF, SMF, UPF, AUSF, UDM, etc.) as cloud-hosted, service-based offerings.You’ll drive the design and onboarding of telecom core products across multi-cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance at every stage. Working closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams, you’ll drive architectural excellence, mentor cross-functional teams, and influence strategic decisions that align technology with business goals. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud transformation, where innovation, collaboration, and impact converge.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnDrive the design and onboarding of cloud-native telecom solutions across multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, OpenShift), ensuring scalability, interoperability, and compliance with telecom-grade standards.Ensure architecture governance by defining best practices for automation, security, and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.Work with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, operations, and network engineering, to ensure seamless deployment and operational excellence.Mentor and guide teams in building expertise across containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native telecom operations.Partner with senior stakeholders to align architecture strategies with business goals, influencing decisions through strong technical and strategic insight.Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, fostering collaboration across cultures and maintaining a strong professional presence in leadership forums.Key Skills And ExperienceYou-Have:Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent degree with 10+ years of experience focusing on telecom cloud architecture, including NFV, CNFs/VNFs, and 5G core components, and handled cloud-native deployments.Done the onboarding of telecom products onto cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and OpenShift, ensuring scalability and interoperability.Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines using GitOps practices.Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, operations, and leadership teams, aligning architecture goals with business outcomes.Worked in the Global Time zone/Global projects.Nice-to-Have:Sound understanding of telecom-grade security, compliance, and encryption frameworks within multi-cloud and hybrid environments.Demonstrated ability to drive and mentor diverse technical teams, fostering capability development in cloud-native and DevOps practices.About UsAbout NokiaJoin us in creating the technology that helps the world act together.We are a B2B technology innovation leader, pioneering networks that sense, think and act™, putting the world’s people, machines and devices in sync to create a more sustainable, productive and accessible future.Learn more about life at Nokia .About The Business GroupIn Cloud and Network Services, as Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models.
