C# Engineer (AWS) – Contract📍 Remote 💰 Up to €60/hour 📅 6-month rolling contract (long-term project)We’re partnering with a large international financial services organisation seeking an experienced .NET Engineer with strong AWS experience to join a global engineering team working on cloud-native banking platforms.This is a hands-on contract role focused on building and operating scalable backend services in a modern cloud environment. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance systems supporting customer-facing financial products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build backend services using .NET / C# and ASP.NETDevelop cloud-native microservices architectures running on AWSWork with event-driven systems and streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka / PubSub)Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesBuild and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and container platformsEnsure systems are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulated industry standardsCollaborate with distributed engineering teams across EuropeRequired SkillsStrong experience with .NET / C# backend developmentExperience building microservices and APIsHands-on experience with AWS cloud servicesExperience with Kubernetes and containerized applicationsFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolingExperience with Kafka or event-driven architecturesStrong understanding of cloud security and scalable system designAdditional Experience (Nice to Have)Experience working in financial services or regulated industriesExposure to CQRS, TDD, and observability / monitoring toolsContract DetailsRate: Up to €60/hourContract: 6-month rolling engagementStart: ASAPLocation: Remote
