Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and produce detailed tender and construction drawings for mechanical systemsDefine project scope, identify potential issues, and raise clarifications as neededEvaluate quotations and bid documents to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications.Prepare and present comprehensive design reports to project stakeholdersPrepare and manage the construction drawing management forms, ensuring all drawings are updated and accurateCreate and verify calculation reports to support the design processReview and verify all design and construction drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirementsReview and validate major equipment and material specification sheetsApprove major equipment purchase requisitions and ensure procurement aligns with project needsManage and coordinate external design tasks for respective disciplinesConduct design handover sessions with clients and contractors to ensure seamless project executionAny other ad-hoc duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent fieldMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in detail design of Mechanical Systems (ACMV, Chilled water plant, Building Services, Cleanrooms, etc)Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other mechanical design toolsUnderstanding of HVAC systems, piping, pressure vessels, plumbing, and other mechanical systemsAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
