Job DescriptionSeeking dedicated early morning truck drivers for local routes, typically concluding by 3: 00 PM. This position involves delivering goods from the warehouse to various job sites and company locations within the Pittsburgh area. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, equipment, paperwork, and loaded products. Execute timely and accurate deliveries to customer job sites and home offices utilizing company-provided vehicles. Load and unload inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy. Ensure a neat, safe, and organized work environment. Complete and maintain accurate manifests. Deliver exceptional customer service. Utilize company technology to communicate arrival and serve as a liaison with customers.
Maintain records in compliance with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with managers, sales, and branch logistics. Key Requirements2-5 years of driving experience preferred but not requiredProficiency in using smartphones for directions, photography, and communication. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background, and driver record checks is mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capacity to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the local delivery area. Ability to remain seated in a vehicle for extended periods. Capability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist for lifting.
-Obtainment of a Medical DOT Card with screening is required upon hire (company-Employment Details: Monday through Friday schedule, 6: 00 AM to 3: 00 PM. 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
