We are currently delivering the first phase of a landmark partnership with HOPE in Barbados: 89 homes, with potential expansion into thousands more. Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead all on-site construction operations in Barbados.
This role is critical to our mission and requires a hands-on leader who can oversee substructure works, modular installations, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of site construction, including substructure works, modular installations, and finishing. Manage construction schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to maintain smooth workflow. Enforce high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Ensure quality standards are consistently met. Work closely with Duravilla’s project management and design teams to resolve site issues.
Report progress, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership. RequirementsProven experience (8+ years) as a Construction Manager or Site Manager in residential or modular housing projects. Strong technical knowledge of civil works and modular/ prefabricated construction. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams simultaneously. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience working in the Caribbean or similar environments preferred.
