Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a Trainee to join our vibrant Schofields Westminster Service.This exciting opportunity allows you to earn while you learn, as you work towards your Children's Services qualification. Gain hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and build a rewarding career in early childhood education and care.This position is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with off-the-floor time to complete your studies. ResponsibilitiesWork alongside the team to provide high-quality education and care.Develop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program.Apply approved learning frameworks (EYLF) that promote each child's identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills.Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols.Lead by example in all interactions, fostering a respectful and collaborative team culture.Partner with families to support their children’s development and education goals.Build & maintain clear and accurate communication within the team, children and families, and nurture professional, supportive and respectful relationships.About YouValid full working rights in AustraliaFull-time availability required between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.A demonstrated interest in Early Childhood Education and CareCurrently enrolled in or interested in completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with our preferred training provider.Eligible to apply or hold a valid NSW Employee Working with Children CheckCommitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practicesChild Safety MattersAt Young Academics, we prioritise children’s safety and well-being.
