Are you passionate about improving outcomes for Children in Our Care? Join our Virtual School team as an Education Champion and make a real difference. This is a pivotal role in improving educational outcomes for Children in our Care and care leavers. As an Education Champion you will work closely with social care teams, schools, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.You’ll manage and attend PEP meetings, ensuring quality assurance of processes and documents and report on non-compliance. You’ll actively participate in multi-professional meetings to plan education provision and lead projects that promote participation, aspiration and future careers.As an Education Champion you’ll negotiate alternative education packages to ensure continuity of learning and work to prevent NEET status and re-engage young people who are NEET.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
