The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in student counselling specifically for Australian universities.This role requires someone with complete, A-to-Z process knowledge, focusing particularly on navigating the rigorous Genuine Student (GS) requirements and achieving high visa success rates.Key Responsibilities (End-to-End Application Management)1. Expert Counseling and Profile AssessmentProvide accurate, ethical, and comprehensive counselling to students and parents regarding Australian universities, course selection, and academic entry requirements.Conduct in-depth profile assessments (academic, financial, and English proficiency) to determine the best-fit institution and programme aligned with the student's background and career goals.Maintain the highest standard of integrity and compliance with the Australian Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act.2. Admission & Documentation ManagementManage the entire application lifecycle—from initial submission to the university to securing the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).Guide students meticulously on compiling all necessary documents, including transcripts, English test results (IELTS/PTE), and detailed curriculum vitae (CVs).Ensure timely follow-up with partner universities and manage the offer acceptance process.3. Visa and GS Specialisation (Crucial)Be the primary expert on the Australian GS process. You must know how to draft, review, and perfect Statements of Purpose (SOPs) to address all GS criteria successfully.Thoroughly vet all financial documentation to ensure it strictly meets the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) policy requirements and is evidence-based.Assist with the final student visa application lodgement and prepare students for potential visa interviews.Required Qualifications & AttributesExperience: A minimum of 2 years of proven, direct experience in Australian student counselling/applications is mandatory.Education: Minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.Expert Knowledge: In-depth, end-to-end knowledge of Australian university admissions, fee structures, GTE requirements, and Student Visa (Subclass 500) procedures.Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills (proficiency in report writing and professional email communication is essential).Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience using an agency CRM/database system.
