Job Description

Job descriptionWe are looking for a Country Manager with a demonstrable 5+ years minimum work history in a similar role based in Kathmandu, Nepal to grow new business and drive existing business and ensure market share and profitability. This role will be responsible for managing overall operations, recruiting staff and managing the team, and expanding Educonnect footprint.

As a Country Manager, you will be required to recruit and manage team comprised of Customer Success Consultants, Sales Representatives, Course Advisors/Counsellors and manage overall operations to interact with thousands of students looking to Study in Australia, UK, Canada, USA, UAE, Europe and lead the team to guide students on their course selection and needs. You will also develop and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and progress reports to ensure the teams' targets are being met or exceeded.

About UsEduconnect is a course search facilitator website that works with major Destinations education providers to offer easy Discover, Compare, Connect and Apply services to students globally. Educonnect aims to provide real-time information to search options, bringing the data from many providers and in turn helping students make informed decisions to pursue their future course selections. Educonnect helps students select the right course from the right provider, enabling them to inquire and apply for their chosen course.

 About the roleManage a team of Customer Success Consultants, Course Advisor and Sales RepresentativesSet targets, performance plans, and meeting with Team Members to review performance, progress, and targets. Develop a scalable sales process and strategies and continually refine and implement it. Use Educonnect Platform and CRM to review and manage Sales targets and performanceEnsure team are clear and follows their daily tasks, and activities to improve their performanceRegular review and management of targets across all destinationsProvide coaching, mentoring and guidance to the team members. Plan and implement appropriate training programs.

Coordinate and collaborate with Country Managers or Regional ManagersReport to Head Office operations in Australia.

 About You●      Education - University degree level, or equivalent●      Be able to demonstrate success in a similar role (previous experience as Country Manager in managing Education Recruitment is a must)●      Knowledge of all major destinations education systems and enrolment processes and documentation●      Ability to manage and engage with various stakeholders with conflicting priorities and deadlines●      Ability to develop rapport and trust to cultivate ongoing professional relationships●      Capacity to focus, self and time manage yourself●      Capable to analyse and interpret data to help make decisions●      Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM is a distinct advantage What we offer youA Country Manager must be resilient and adaptable to manage the dynamic and fast-changing environment at Educonnect Nepal.
