Electrical Design Engineer (Good English) - Remote

At Merollo, employees are supported through continuous development, fostering a team of industry experts dedicated to delivering outstanding electrical engineering services.Role DescriptionDevelop detailed electrical designs and documentation for low voltage systemsUse Revit and AutoCAD for drafting and modeling electrical layoutsPerform lighting calculations using DIALux and short-circuit analysis using SKM Power Tools (PTW).Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, Architecture, etc.) to ensure design integrity and integrationPrepare BOQ, single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, panel scheduleEnsure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.Support project teams throughout the design and construction phasesCommunicate effectively in English with internal teams and external consultants/clients when requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field2–5 years of experience in electrical design (preferably in building services or infrastructure projects)Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, and SKMSolid understanding of low voltage systems (ELV, lighting, structured cabling, security systems, etc.)Good command of English, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamAttention to detail and commitment to qualityBenefits Salary negotiable based on candidate’s capabilities (to be discussed during interview)Supportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for skill development and career growthMonthly training allowance of $60Monthly remote work support allowance of $100Work with modern tools and challenging projectsIn-house role with long-term development potential
