Electrical Design Engineer

Position Summary:We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support our production and engineering teams. This role involves creating detailed electrical design documentation, including schematic drawings, BOMs, and wire lists, while collaborating closely with production engineers to ensure accurate hardware and wiring solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain electrical schematic drawings and documentation packages for manufacturing and as-built conditions.Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and wire lists for production.Support production engineers in hardware selection and custom wiring design.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and adherence to quality standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical hardware design.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.Strong understanding of PLC hardware and electrical control systems.Technical SkillsElectrical hardware controls experience.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.Familiarity with industrial wiring practices and standards.
