Join a team that’s building a cleaner future—locally and globally.We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to be part of the Engineering team in our Makati Office. This role will report to the Engineering Director, and will have a regional scope, which includes mainly Philippines, but also Thailand and Vietnam.The Electrical Engineer will provide technical expertise and be responsible for the design, evaluation, and implementation of electrical systems for renewable energy projects (photovoltaic solar, wind, and other technologies) in Southeast Asian markets. The position ensures that all electrical infrastructure, including MV/LV systems, HV transmission line and substations, is designed and implemented according to technical, quality, safety and environmental standards throughout the full project lifecycle; from early-stage development and internal investment evaluation through construction, commissioning, and operation.Job DescriptionDesign and review LV and MV electrical systems for wind and solar power plants, including cable routing, switchgear, and transformer specifications.Support the development of HV substation layouts and transmission line designs.Collaborate with control and SCADA engineers to ensure integration of communication,protection, and control systems.Support permitting processes by preparing or reviewing technical documentation and responding to regulatory requirements.Prepare and/or review technical documentation for procurement, and construction phases.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project execution (both with the local team and with the headquarters in Spain).Conduct site visits to validate designs and support construction and commissioning activities.Optimize electrical designs to improve cost efficiency, constructability, and environmental performance.Contribute to internal investment reports by providing technical input for electrical works.Supervise electrical contractors and monitor compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.Evaluate technical risks and propose mitigation measures.Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid connection standards, and corporate engineering guidelines.Required Skills And CompetenciesEDUCATIONElectrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a specialization in electricity.Additional training in high, medium, and low voltage systems or in renewable energies is valued.ExperienceExperience in design, specification, and validation of electrical equipment and systems, preferably in renewable energy infrastructure projects.SkillsQuality and detail orientationAnalytical thinkingHighly technical profileAdaptability and proactivityTeamworkSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGELanguages. English professional levelTools: Design and electrical simulation software is valued (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).Others: Solid knowledge in the design of low, medium, and high voltage systems.
