Electrical Engineer

Site Electrical Engineer 1-Year Project based in Ilocos RegionOnsite at the Project SiteDayshift with accommodationKey Responsibilities:1. Technical Oversight & Supervision • Monitor construction activities for transmission line, switchyard, and substation works • Review electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specs • Validate installation practices against safety standards and applicable codes (PEC, IEC, IEEE) • Support inspections, FAT, and SAT activities2. Quality Assurance & Compliance • Ensure electrical works follow approved quality plans and specifications • Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports • Coordinate NCRs and technical clarifications3. Coordination & Interface Management • Act as the on-site focal point for all transmission and substation-related electrical works • Coordinate with EPC teams, OE, grid operators (if applicable), and internal groups • Support interface management between the solar array and interconnection facilities4. Testing, Commissioning & Energization • Oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities • Review procedures and validate test results • Assist in troubleshooting during commissioning5. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain updated as-builts, inspection reports, and test records • Provide weekly progress updates and identify risks • Support turnover documentation and punch list closureQualifications: • Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering • 3–5 years of relevant experience in power projects, ideally transmission line or substation construction • Experience in renewable energy, power plants, or EPC environments is a plus • Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety regulations, and grid interconnection • Proficient in engineering drawings, MS Office, and AutoCAD • Strong communication and coordination skills • Able to work independently in a fast-paced project setting
