They have a strong reputation for safety, innovation, and supporting professional growth within their teams.The Role: We are seeking a HV Electrical Engineer to join the site team supporting a high-profile pharmaceutical project in Limerick. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of high-voltage electrical systems, from installation and commissioning to ongoing maintenance, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance at all times.Responsibilities:Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of HV equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relaysDevelop and manage HV switching plans and safety proceduresSupport routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair to maximise system uptimeEnsure compliance with electrical safety and regulatory standards within a pharmaceutical environmentWork closely with the client and internal engineering teams to deliver technically sound and efficient solutionsPromote continuous improvement and contribute to safety and operational excellence initiativesRequirements:Degree (Level 7 or above) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3 years’ experience working on HV/MV systems in an industrial or regulated settingStrong technical understanding of HV systems, ATEX, and DC power infrastructureProficiency in troubleshooting electrical control systems and producing accurate documentationExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPackage:Salary circa €85,000 - €90,000 - DOEPension and healthcareFlexible working options depending on project needsEducation and training assistanceOpportunities for long-term career development across large-scale industrial and pharmaceutical projects
