Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:Rakhat Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Engineer to oversee and coordinate electrical systems for our projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with technical standards, lead progress monitoring, and solve electrical challenges on-site. We value candidates with strong residential and commercial project experience and a proactive approach to leadership.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate electrical system installation, testing, and commissioning in line with project plans and specificationsCollaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to address technical and engineering challengesConduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsPrepare daily site reports, track project progress, and keep the management team informedAssist with resource allocation, procurement, and material management for electrical worksImplement safety procedures and conduct risk assessments on electrical site installationsReview electrical drawings and offer technical guidance to electricians and site staffMaintain accurate records of material usage, site changes, and quality assuranceSupport the handover process and ensure effective communication with stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5 to 8 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in construction within the UAE preferredProven experience in residential and commercial building projectsStrong knowledge of UAE electrical regulations, codes, and authority requirementsProficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and electrical engineering softwareExcellent technical, troubleshooting, and documentation skillsFamiliarity with DEWA regulationsPreferred Skills:Experience with residential focus on villasIn-depth understanding of modern electrical systems, safety standards, and quality controlsStrong teamwork, coordination, and time-management skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing site demandsExperience in both contractor and developer environments is advantageous
