We aim to deliver safe and sustainable projects and services for our clients in different fields.This job offers an exciting and technically advanced approach to value added quality control on a wide range of EPCm projects.ResponsibilitiesWhat makes you remarkable?Ensure that all construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed in and comply with all aspects of the Company Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirementsEnsure that construction contractors working within his discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site InstructionsResponsible for the HSES, and quality aspects of the work within assigned areas and for ensuring construction contractors complete their work in accordance with the project scheduleProactive in providing support to project team in assigned project work as and when requiredVerify correct application of Lock Out Tag devices for electrical equipment and confirm isolation integrityRaise any concern to the Area Authority regarding isolationsConfirm subsystem boundary isolation is in place and protection other work partiesApply isolation (BI, LOTO, PEIC) as per procedureUpdate SLD/PEFS and isolation register (BI, LOTO, EPIC) at building/unitsUpdate all isolation and de-isolation register/diagramEnsure work under PTW complies with project safety requirementsLUN ApproverAEP ensures implementation of LOTO procedure, maintains updated register, verifies LOTO application regularlyResponsible for applying and removing electrical isolations and maintain the Electrical isolation RegisterResponsible to control all voltages, prepare switching program and demonstrate high level electrical safety knowledgeIsolation only removed by AEP against valid PTW and Isolation De-Isolation lockout listQualificationsVocation, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Electrical or related fieldMinimum 10 years’ experience in electrical construction workExperienced in Live Plant, Greenfield, and Turnaround / Revamp workMinimum 5 years experienced in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or others similar type of plantsGood HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk AssessmentFluent in English communication and written and Basic computer software skillsGood team leadership in technical, interpersonal and communication skillGood Problem solving and Decision makingAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
