The successful incumbent will report to the Foreman: Electrical.Key Areas Of ResponsibilityResponsible for the execution of project driven electrical and electronic installations and maintenance according to SABS regulationsAssess the maintenance and electrical requirements of jobs assigned and allocatedExecute and attend to electrical maintenance tasks, equipment and breakdownsAdhere to safety procedures, operation of equipment and report unsafe practicesRegularly conduct plant inspections and carry out planned maintenance schedulesConduct monthly safety inspection of equipmentProviding technical support to the mechanical and production departmentsFault inspection of machinery including PLC, AC and DC drivesWilling to work on standby based on operational requirements
