Job Description

Job Title: Heavy Automobile Electrical TechnicianLocation: Jebel Ali, DubaiEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob PurposePerform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on heavy industrial vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, cranes, locomotives, and manlifts. Ensure reliable operation of machinery and minimize downtime while adhering to safety and quality standards. Support continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance team. Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems on industrial vehicles including motors, relays, sensors, lighting, and control panels. Handle wiring tasks, component replacements, and adjustments on equipment like forklifts, cranes, locomotives, and manlifts. Maintain and service industrial batteries—charging, replacing, and preventive upkeep.

Use electrical testing tools such as multimeters and interpret electrical diagrams and control panel layouts. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance both in the field and workshop settings. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and order spare parts using SAP or similar systems. Ensure all work complies with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines. Participate actively in safety, 5S, and business excellence programs. Share technical knowledge with new team members and assist other departments with electrical troubleshooting as required. Qualifications & SkillsDiploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. PEC Craft Training completion preferred.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience working with heavy industrial vehicles or equipment. Experience in heavy industries such as aluminium, steel, ports, or mining is a strong advantage. Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and component replacement. Skilled with industrial batteries and their maintenance. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, control panel schematics, and technical manuals. Competent in using electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
