DevOps Engineer - Long Term ContractThis role supports scalable, data-driven platforms by building and maintaining robust infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable deployments and optimise system performance. Responsibilities: Design and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS) using Helm for efficient deployments. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and shell scripts (Bash, Python). Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD. Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch. Ensure secure secret management with tools like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager. Essential Qualifications:
Strong experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration. Proficiency in Terraform and scripting (Bash, Python). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e. g. , GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins). Equivalent experience or a relevant degree in computer science or related field. Desirable Qualifications: Familiarity with data Lakehouse platforms (e. g. , S3 + Hive, Delta Lake). Experience with monitoring tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Knowledge of distributed data systems (e. g. , Airflow, Spark, Kafka).
