Our client is hiring an Employee Relations & Administration Manager.Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused Employee Relations & Admin Manager to lead HR operations and administrative functions at our Design Center. This role is central to building a supportive workplace culture, ensuring smooth day-to-day office administration, and fostering strong employee relations across the organization.The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR management, staff engagement, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and vendor liaison. They will also provide administrative oversight, coordinate small-scale procurement, and manage office systems that keep the Design Center running effectively.This role is well-suited for an HR and admin professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams and positive employee experiences.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor regulations.Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation systems.Support payroll administration and staff benefits coordination.Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.Handle performance management frameworks and support employee development programs.Ensure effective communication across teams and maintain staff morale.Coordinate daily administrative activities and office management tasks.Manage small-scale procurement of office supplies and ensure vendor relations run smoothly.Liaise with external partners, clients, and service providers when required.Support leadership in implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.3+ years of proven experience in HR and administrative management.Strong understanding of labor laws, HR compliance, and workplace policies.Hands-on experience with HR documentation, recruitment tools, and employee management systems.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and HRIS tools (e.g., Zoho People, BambooHR, or equivalent).Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.Preferred Qualifications:Professional HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent).Experience working in a startup or tech-driven organization.Familiarity with modern HR tools and collaboration platforms (Slack, Trello, Asana, or similar).Knowledge of payroll systems and employee benefits administration.Proven ability to design and implement employee engagement or wellness programs.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.Empathy, fairness, and a people-first mindset.Adaptability in fast-changing and dynamic environments.Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and support teams.
