To support our strategic expansion in renewable, energy-efficient, and sustainable manufacturing environments, we are seeking a driven Energy Project Engineer/Manager to join our team in Belgium.RequirementsFluency in Dutch and English5+ years of experience in energy engineering, industrial utilities, or renewable energy projectsBachelor’s / Master’s in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplineHands-on experience with energy systems in industrial/FMCG environments (steam, cooling, compressed air, CHP, renewables)Strong competence in energy system design, performance analysis, and project planningExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, mechanical, automation)Knowledge of renewable technologies (solar, biomass, heat recovery, etc.)Proficiency in CAD and electrical/energy system modeling softwareStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of MS Office; MS Project is an advantageAvailability for business travel and for relocation in Belgium for site-based assignments is a mustResponsibilitiesReview project documentation and define energy/utility system requirementsDevelop layouts, technical specifications, and engineering calculationsWork closely with FMCG/industrial clients to align sustainability and cost-efficiency goalsDesign and manage energy and utility systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and complianceConduct simulations, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of energy systemsPrepare tender documents (RFQ), review technical offers, and validate MTOsManage suppliers, ensuring alignment with project scope and standardsDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestone deliveryDrive continuous improvement and propose innovative technical solutionsPrepare progress reports and technical documentation for stakeholdersSupport on-site commissioning, testing, and project handoverWhy Blue Projects?Work on high-impact projects with major international FMCG and industrial brandsCompetitive compensation with performance-based rewardsClear career development and internal mobility opportunitiesOpen, inclusive, supportive team cultureAccess to high-quality online learning platformsPsychological and well-being servicesEmployee Assistance Program
