Energy, Water and Sustainability Manager

Role Summary The Energy, Water & Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing energy, water, and sustainability programs aligned with organizational environmental goals. The role focuses on identifying and delivering consumption and cost reductions, advancing sustainability initiatives, leading audits, conducting Measurement & Verification (M&V), analyzing trends, and preparing technical reports, proposals, and business cases to support long-term sustainable operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSustainability & Resource EfficiencyDevelop and lead energy, water, and sustainability initiatives to meet organizational targets.Reduce consumption of utilities and natural resources in alignment with sustainability objectives.Deliver annual savings related to energy, water, and environmental performance.Identify opportunities for carbon footprint reduction and environmental improvement.Support the development of sustainability action plans and long-term environmental roadmaps.Consumption Reduction & Technical DeliveryConduct energy and water audits to identify efficiency improvements.Perform routine inspections across assigned facilities; produce reports and action plans.Explore and evaluate renewable energy and water reuse opportunities.Implement innovative and sustainable technologies to enhance resource efficiency.Technical OutputsPerform technical analysis of systems such as BMS, SCADA, chiller plants, HVAC, lighting, pumps, irrigation, and leak detection.Optimize system scheduling, setpoints, and operational parameters to reduce resource use.Use real-time monitoring systems to track energy and water performance.Ensure all energy- and sustainability-related systems are maintained for optimal efficiency.Analytics, Reporting & CompliancePrepare sustainability reports covering energy, water, emissions, and environmental metrics.Analyze utility costs and consumption data to identify efficiency opportunities.Conduct M&V to validate savings and track performance against baselines.Develop metering strategies, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability-related regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.Leadership & CoordinationCoordinate sustainability and efficiency initiatives with internal teams and service providers.Ensure service providers adhere to environmental, operational, and safety policies.Promote sustainability awareness and conservation practices across stakeholder groups.Budget & ProcurementPrepare proposals and business cases to support sustainability and efficiency projects.Provide input for CAPEX and OPEX planning related to energy, water, and environmental initiatives.Support procurement activities by evaluating technical submissions and specifications.Perform other duties as assigned
