Job Description

Responsibilities:Facilitate and manage all marine-related 2nd & 3rd tier and major works of dedicated facilities, including supporting day-to-day facility safety, integrity, uptime, and compliance with statutory requirements, authorities, and Classification Society (CLASS).Monitor and register the validity of CLASS status and certification, facility availability, and upkeep at EPOMS marine facilities via the EPOMS Computerized CLASS Management System (ECCMS).Assist in developing, standardizing, and maintaining procedures and operating practices throughout EPOMS facilities as required.Facilitate and engage in major 2nd & 3rd tier troubleshooting and problem-solving for marine systems and equipment, including managing contractors and third-party services when needed.Prepare Scope of Work (SOW), Material Take Off (MTO), budgets, and planning; participate in tendering and design/engineering reviews; execute onshore and offshore works, inspection, testing, commissioning; and prepare documentation (e.g., specifications, procedures, Inspection Testing Plan (ITP)) until handover to Operations.Facilitate procurement of critical spares for marine-related equipment.Assure and review Preventive/Corrective Maintenance (PM/CM) compliance for hull structures and marine systems, and ensure adherence to Integrated Activity Planning (IAP).Provide marine engineering support to other departments across project phases such as Operations Readiness Assurance (ORA), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Facility Improvement Plans (FIP).Support the institutionalization of marine capability within EPOMS, including institutionalising marine engineering capability, developing capability and establishing a clear growth path, evaluating and implementing new equipment and technology to support business needs, and identifying, preparing budgets, and purchasing required equipment.Perform relevant duties as and when directed by the Company or Supervisor.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture or a Certificate of Competency Class 2/3 of Seagoing Engineer or Deck Officer.Demonstrate technical skills required for the function.Strong communication skills at all levels of the company.Excellent teamwork skills.Ability to recommend (using data) and implement solutions and strategies in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often; versatile with the ability to propose fit-for-purpose solutions.Ability to solve difficult problems, skilled in marine-related troubleshooting, and able to plan and complete tasks on schedule.Must have the ability to lead and motivate others.Ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineers and new hires.Familiar with a variety of operational/field concepts, practices, and procedures.
