Position: Offshore Installation Manager Location: Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentOverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Offshore Installation Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of project execution across the Engineering, Construction, Transportation, and Installation phases. The successful candidate will ensure all project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of project activities covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, marine spread mobilization, and offshore installation.Track project progress and ensure milestones are achieved; proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions.Ensure all project teams and subcontractors comply with company policies, standards, and procedures.Provide regular project updates and highlight key risks or concerns to senior management.Collaborate closely with clients, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to meet project requirements and resolve disputes.Oversee subcontractor selection and awards, including review of RFQs, TBEs, and CBEs.Coordinate with logistics and agents to ensure all statutory, cargo, vessel, and personnel clearance requirements are met.Support the project team in preparing risk and opportunity analyses.Facilitate HAZID and constructability review workshops.Implement lessons learned and best practices across ongoing and future projects.Supervise and guide the offshore construction team in planning and executing offshore scopes, including review and approval of installation deliverables.Support the offshore team in preparing materials and consumable lists, ensuring timely procurement.Ensure engineering and construction activities adhere to installation guidelines, aids, and methodologies.Oversee marine spread audits and ensure all findings are closed prior to mobilization.RequirementsProven experience and in-depth knowledge of mooring and transportation & installation (T&I) operations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective client and supplier relationships.Commercial awareness with experience in reviewing quotes, tenders, and negotiating pricing.Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.Proactive and solution-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated team player capable of working independently and collaboratively.
