This is your chance to join the C&A team as an Engneering Manager in our Supply Chain area!Our Engineers are responsible for building and maintaining the components and integrations of our software products, as well as operating them in production. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about developing software, people, and teams, is experienced with modern software technologies and frameworks, has a strong passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, and has a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Engineers are the backbone of the C&A organization, creating and developing the tools needed for the business units to meet their goals.Your ResponsibilitiesLeading, coaching, and developing one or more cross-functional engineering teams to drive goals and objectivesEstablishing and maintaining a positive and productive work environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and collaborationFostering engineering and operational excellence within your team(s), as well as identifying training opportunities and career development strategiesBuilding engineering capabilities within the team to ensure engineering and operational best practicesPairing with the Product Manager and Product Designer to steer the team’s roadmapStaying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's products and servicesWhat You BringRelevant multi-year Engineering Management or a similar technical leadership role experience, where you were responsible for software products from development to productionLeading with humility and empathy, mentoring others, as well as posessing the ability to effectively delegateStrong communication skills and demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear, and concise manner to a variety of audiencesAbility to split large features into smaller deliverables to deliver value as early and as often as possibleGreat passion for technology and software developmentGreat to haveExperience in designing and implementing microservices in a complex ecosystem (Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, AWS)Experience with frontend technologies (Typescript, React, Tailwind)Experience with message brokers and databases (RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgresSQL)Experience with effective ways to leverage GenAI in software deliveryWhat We OfferThis is an opportunity for you to join us on a truly exciting transformation journey, where you’ll be able to leave footprints that last and contribute significantly to our vision.
