If so, you might be a good candidate for this role.Job DescriptionAs an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with theplanning, directing, and coordinating operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings, which may include the surrounding grounds or multiple facilities across the property.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist with Overseeing the daily operations of facilities and buildings, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices related to maintenance and engineering functions.Coordinate and monitor the work of maintenance and engineering staff, including their training and development.Ensure timely completion of routine maintenance tasks, as well as the identification and resolution of any maintenance or engineering issues.Collaborate with other departments to maintain the integrity and functionality of all facilities and buildings.Assist with manageing budgets and resources associated with facilities and buildings operations, identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding facility and building maintenance and engineering.Evaluate the performance of maintenance and engineering staff, providing constructive feedback and initiating disciplinary actions as needed.Participate in planning, design, and construction of new facilities or renovations to existing facilities.Stay informed on industry trends and developments in order to continuously improve the organization's facilities and buildings operations.Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.Work ExperienceManages service, support, or professional associates and/or supervisorsAdapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challengesDecisions guided by policy, resources and business planReceives moderate guidanceHas 5 to 7 years of work experienceHas at least 3 years of management experienceCompetenciesTeamwork and CollaborationAction ManagementBusiness ExpertiseChampioning Guest NeedsImpactInnovationInterpersonal SkillsJob Functional KnowledgeLeadershipProblem SolvingTalent DevelopmentEducationAssociate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.CertificationsCertifications may be required or preferredDoes this opportunity resonate with your aspirations?
