Job Title: Project Manager (Engineering) IIIContact duration : 12 monthsStart date: ASAP More information:Candidate must have at least 10 years of relevant experienceCandidate must demonstrated comprehensive experience in managing delivery of major fuel infrastructure projects, e.g. >A$50mCandidate must demonstrated knowledge of bulk fuels terminal facility asset design, construction, operation & maintenanceCandidate must effective communicator able to build strong working relationships with wide range of stakeholders and business partnersWorking arrangement will be 100% site basedWorking hour: 9.00AM – 5.00PM1 level of virtual interview will be conducted About the role:The client owns bulk fuel storage facilities in Brisbane (terminals) and these are operated by the business called Australian Terminal Operations Management P/L (ATOM). There are infrastructure project opportunities to expand the infrastructure capability at two terminal locations in Brisbane and have engaged ATOM to deliver the FEED stage. Client is seeking an experienced OPM to act as the local Owner’s representative to provide oversight of ATOM’s FEED stage delivery.The OPM shall be based in Brisbane, on-site at the Bulwer Terminal facility, and work along side the ATOM project delivery team. The OPM will be the key contact point between business and the ATOM Senior Projects Manager. The OPM will be reporting to the Midstream Business and Commercial Development Manager, based in Melbourne.The OPM will provide project management oversight of two projects at the Bulwer Fuels Terminal and Marine Kirra Street Terminal.What is required from you:The OPM shall:Deliver functional excellence in project execution and management in accordance with client and industry best practices, ensuring adherence to the major project policies and technical assurance processes.Act as local representative to provide oversight and drive the ATOM’s project delivery performance to ensure project objectives are met and aligned to the approved execution strategy.Act as the focal contact for the ATOM Senior Project Manager to receive and transmit correspondence and requirements between the two entities.Maintain constant oversight and engagements with the ATOM delivery team to ensure all project scope, cost and schedule are delivered to plan, variations are managed to the required change procedures and project risks & opportunities are identified and appropriately managed.Facilitate/participate in Weekly Project meetings to measure ATOM’s delivery performance against baseline cost and schedule. Where ATOM’s delivery does not meet key performance metrics, intervene and escalate as required to rectify the situation.Support the Business and Commercial Development Manager in the following monthly governance meetings:Steering Committee between client & ATOM to formally discuss delivery performance of prior month and forward view on upcoming milestones.Internal Project Governance (x2) tailored to update project stakeholders in ST&S and C&P (BPA local leadership) business entities.Engage other internal business and functional tags as needed to deliver the above accountabilities.Any other directions as required by the Business and Commercial Development Manager.Experience & Qualifications:Demonstrated comprehensive experience in managing delivery of major fuel infrastructure projects, e.g. >A$50m.Demonstrated knowledge of bulk fuels terminal facility asset design, construction, operation & maintenance.Effective communicator able to build strong working relationships with wide range of stakeholders and business partners.Strong performance bias with proactive approach to managing project delivery performance and risks management.Must be based on-site in Brisbane.
