The English Lecturer will design and deliver engaging lectures, develop curriculum materials tailored to academic standards, and assess student performance. The role also entails mentoring students, contributing to academic research, and participating in departmental activities to enhance the overall learning experience.Job ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidates are expected to lead research, attract research funds, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, teach, develop undergraduate and graduate classes, and contribute to administrative tasks. The position also includes engagement in academic collaboration with partner universities.Qualifications Expertise in English Teaching, Education, and the ability to effectively engage students in the learning process. Strong skills in Lecturing and Curriculum Development to design and implement high-quality course materials. Demonstrated experience in Teaching with a focus on fostering critical thinking and language proficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide mentorship and guidance to students. Advanced degree in English, Education, or a related field is required; Ph.D. is preferred. Previous teaching or academic experience in higher education is an advantage.Technical Skills In-depth knowledge related to academic program specializations. Proven teaching and practical expertise in the disciplines related to the academic programs. Ability to work well with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds, professional experience, and aesthetic sensibilities. Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills in English, which is the teaching language. Good management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and motivate others. An interest in working collaboratively within RST University and with external partners towards the development of shared projects.Apply here
