DescriptionThe Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations and ensure operational efficiency. They will need to be able to do heavy lifting and standing for most of the shift. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for creating a safe work environment and ensuring effective use of space and resources. This position does NOT require managing staff, only managing the warehouse space. ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized and complies with all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines. Complete and turn in paperwork daily.
Input information into digital computer systems for recordkeeping. Manage required customer interactions in a professional manner. Document and communicate all service-related issues. Communicate with other departments to resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner. Promote a safe workplace and take immediate action on unsafe conditions. RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend and lift (50 lbs. ) for extended periods of time. Able to speak and read English. Must be able to use a hand truck and electric pallet jack. Must have current forklift training certification or be willing to receive certification. Proficient in computer technology including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Able and willing to work extended hours and weekends, as necessary.
