In 8 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 50 people from nearly 25 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.JOB MISSIONThe Program Director will lead the strategic and operational delivery of Conecta Caribbean, an ecosystem-building program that is part of CaribEquity—a multi-country initiative co-funded by IDB Lab and implemented by Bridge for Billions. The program aims to strengthen early-stage Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (ESOs) across the Caribbean, helping them become catalysts for inclusive growth, innovation, and sustainable development.The mission of Conecta Caribbean is to build a more connected, collaborative, and resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem—one that empowers local ESOs with the tools, networks, and knowledge to better serve entrepreneurs and communities.As the Program’s strategic lead, the Director will act as both visionary and connector—overseeing implementation end-to-end while serving as the face of the initiative across the region. You will drive collaboration between diverse ecosystem actors, foster trust among ESOs, and ensure that every activity—from training programs and incubation cycles to pitch competitions and community advocacy—contributes to a thriving regional innovation landscape.This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of entrepreneurship in the Caribbean, leading a pioneering effort that will set new standards for collaboration, inclusion, and impact across the region.Learn more about CaribEquity here.ROLES & CONTRIBUTIONS 1. Strategic LeadershipDefine, guide, and oversee the program’s strategy, ensuring alignment with objectives, donor expectations, and Bridge for Billions’ mission.Serve as the primary point of contact with IDB Lab, maintaining clear, transparent, and trusted communication.Design and manage the implementation roadmap, milestones, and key performance indicators.Represent Conecta Caribbean in public forums, regional summits, and media engagements as a credible voice of entrepreneurship and innovation.Ensure coherence and collaboration among regional partners, consultants, and institutional allies.2. Stakeholder Engagement & Ecosystem BuildingLead the selection and engagement of ESOs across the Caribbean, ensuring inclusivity, diversity, and alignment with program goals.Act as the main liaison with Caribbean ESOs, ecosystem builders, and local innovation leaders.Facilitate collaboration, peer learning, and exchange among ESOs through community events, ESO Cafés, and Labs.Collaborate with local advisors and ecosystem champions to gather feedback, promote alignment, and maintain the program’s regional credibility.3. Program OversightOversee the full lifecycle of program components—including ESO training modules, strategic masterclasses, incubation cycles, and regional pitch competitions.Support scouting and onboarding of ESOs and other partners.Monitor KPIs, impact metrics, and reporting systems to ensure data-driven decision-making.Manage the program’s budget, disbursements, and financial compliance in coordination with finance and operations teams.4.
