The primary role of the Delegate Oversight associate is to support the operational activities for the Carne Management Company/AIFM by assisting with the day-to-day operations of carrying out Carne’s delegate oversight regulatory obligations and responsibilities.This position can be based out of our Wexford or Kilkenny offices.Required Skills & ExperienceUniversity degree in business/finance/accounting or similar.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.Experience in fund administration, oversight, compliance, or a related financial services environment preferred, but not essential, as a full training programme is in place.Proficiency with reporting tools, document management systems (e.g., Curator, SharePoint), and Microsoft Office Suite.Interest in engagement and utilization of AI tools as part of carrying out daily responsibilitiesAbility to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and independently as needed.What is your role and your responsibilities?Manage and monitor KPI checklists for all Admin/Depos, Investment Managers, and Distributors, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of issues as needed.Complete input and first level review of KPIs on Carne’s proprietary Oversight system Assist with the BAU refresh of Admin, Depo, IM, and Distributor SLAs, ensuring documentation is current and approved.Assist with the BAU refresh of fund-level policies, consulting the policy matrix and liaising with the Carne Compliance and Risk teams, where necessaryLiaise with delegates to ensure timely receipt of monthly and quarterly reports, sending reminders and escalating delays as appropriate.Validate and cross-check KPI data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring high standards for board reporting. Record breaches and errors on Carne’s proprietary Oversight system, ensuring issues are logged promptly and reviewed by a second party (4-eye review).Assist with ensuring all incidents are brought to closure and reported in line with Carne Group procedures. Maintain and update compliance calendars, ensuring all events and filings are captured and confirmed monthlyEnsure record retention and portal access are consistent and up to date across all funds.Ensure client satisfaction and resolve queries efficiently.What competencies do you require?Effective Communication Communicates effectively, engaging with others in a warm and professional manner Planning and organising Organises and plans work effectively, ensuring delivery to quality and timescales in the short and longer term.
