As the EHS Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our state-of-the-art Austin facility operates safely, sustainably, and in full compliance with environmental and occupational regulations. This hands-on leadership role blends innovation, operational excellence, and a strategic focus on employee wellbeing.What You’ll Do Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and relevant industry standards including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Conduct workplace safety training, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and internal EHS audits. Lead incident and accident investigations, root-cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Manage hazardous materials handling, chemical control, waste disposal, and environmental reporting. Oversee environmental programs such as air permitting, stormwater, waste minimization, and sustainability initiatives. Champion a proactive safety culture through coaching, communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure crisis preparedness for the entire facility. Partner with production, operations, facilities, and engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into equipment, processes, and new projects. Track and report EHS performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety and environmental stewardship.What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or high-tech production environment. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, hazardous materials management, and environmental compliance programs. Experience conducting risk assessments, training programs, and incident investigations. Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or related credentials preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
