Position: Environmental AdvisorSalary: Up to 170kCompany: Tier 1 EPC ContractorLocation: SydneyProjects: Renewable Energy - Utility Scale BESS & Solar.Environmental Advisor - Renewable Energy ProjectsA leading global Tier 1 contractor is actively seeking an Environmental Advisor to oversee the environmental and EIA process across their renewable energy portfolio. With a strong foundation in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, this organization has the backing and resources required to influence renewable projects across APAC.If you are an Environmental Advisor looking to work on utility scale BESS and Solar projects, then this could be the role for youResponsibilities Of The Environmental Advisor IncludeLead the EIA & EPA process, prepare and review environmental assessments, risk assessments, approvals, and construction environmental management plans for renewable energy projects.Manage environmental and social risks across project lifecycles to ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards.Provide technical input and coordination during tenders, including managing and reviewing specialist consultants.Support project teams across the business by offering guidance on environmental and social issues, securing secondary approvals, and maintaining the Integrated Management System.Support stakeholder engagement activities through environmental inspections, audits, reporting on sustainability targets and liaising with clients, government, and regulators.RequirementsExperience in environmental science, engineering or planning.A strong background in EIA, Permitting processes and environmental management.Experience working on utility scale energy project Stakeholder Engagement skills.
